As expected, U2 is taking Carnaval de Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth across Europe in 2027, adding 12 stadium dates to the Live Nation-promoted world tour as part of its first extensive return to the road since 2019.

The new leg includes Stockholm, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Milan, with Spanish dates still to come. It launches April 26 at Stockholm’s Strawberry Arena, with Wolf Alice providing support throughout. Click here for tickets.

Two weeks ago, U2 unveiled an initial six-show Latin America schedule beginning Feb. 23 in Mexico City. That portion of the tour has now grown to 11 dates.

North American shows have yet to be announced, nor has an Irish homecoming scheduled to close the tour. “We can’t say too much about the next leg of The Greatest Show on Earth—we’re still figuring it out—but what we can say is, we’ll be wrapping it up in Ireland,” guitarist The Edge said. “There’s nowhere else we’d want to be for that party.”

U2 has also been tapped to headline the halftime show of Netflix’s inaugural Thanksgiving Eve NFL game, a Nov. 25 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The band’s new Interscope album, Carnaval de Luz, is due Nov. 13.
