Part 5

Grammy Contenders: Bebe Rexha, Megan Moroney, Michael Stipe, Yung Miami

October 14, 2026

Music's Biggest Night meets Music's Lamest Trade Magazine, but don't hold that against these top Grammy contenders.

  • Bebe Rexha

What did you learn about yourself when you were making Dirty Blonde?

I learned that I should always trust myself. I was able to fully lean into my vision and my inspiration and make my own decisions. And it’s turning out pretty well, isn’t it?

    (Nate Guenther)

  • Megan Moroney

What’s your favorite moment on Cloud 9?

The “Who Hurt You” bridge is one of my favorite moments on Cloud 9, but it’s also become one of my favorite moments of the live show. Screaming “God, I hate how gross you are” with over 15,000 emo cowgirls and cowboys every night has been unforgettable.

    (Amber Asaly)

  • Michael Stipe

What inspired “I Played the Fool?”

I’m a giant fan of Rooster’s Bill Lawrence and the amazing Steve Carell. The chance to work on a project that brought them together was a dream. And I first met Andrew Watt through Elton John. Easily two of the most inspired and inspiring people I know. It felt like fanboy kismet.

  • Yung Miami

What’s your favorite moment on “Spend Dat?”

The hook, because it captures the whole attitude of the record—it’s bold, it’s fun and it feels like me. When I hear people singing it back to me or see how they react when it comes on, that’s the best part. The New York Knicks celebrating their championship to my song was my absolute favorite part. The way the song took over the summer had the whole world dancing together.
