Chern Xin Liew
Digital Marketing Coordinator, Atlantic Records
Liew helped kick off Bruno Mars’ album rollout with the creator campaign behind “I Just Might,” which debuted at #1, and ran social strategy for Say Now‘s Coachella run, landing a BINI collab that drew 14m views and a 50% fan-page jump in three days. She also spearheaded the Grammy-nominated Just In Time Broadway soundtrack campaign, earning a credit on the vinyl insert. She’s now architecting creator campaigns for Charli xcx’s Music, Fashion, Film. Liew wastes nothing, repurposing old clothes into mitts and rugs. We specialize in wasting time.
Lazaro “Laz” Hernandez
SVP, A&R U.S. & Latin America, Warner Chappell Music
Hernandez was thrilled to watch Ryan Castro play a five-hour sold-out stadium show in Medellín for 50k+ fans, alongside Sean Paul, J Balvin and Maluma. Overseeing a global roster that includes Rauw Alejandro, Young Miko, Jhayco and Natanael Cano, Hernandez recently led the Fresco Sounds camp in Miami—its first to host Asia-Pacific songwriters—and landed a record he’d long chased, pairing Pabllo Vittar and Villano Antillano on “Rockstar.” He’s a sucker for vintage Spanish heartbreak ballads. The “1-877-Kars4Kids” jingle makes us break into tears.
Miya Ugursoy
Senior Director, Digital Marketing, Capitol Records
Ugursoy signed on as SIENNA SPIRO’s digital lead before she even had a Spotify profile—and two years later watched the artist’s debut album, Visitor, chart at #9 and hit the Top 10 in 13 countries, then heard 90k people sing “Die on This Hill” at Wembley Stadium. She’s still steering SPIRO’s campaign with a focus on turning a sold-out world tour into new audience growth. Ugursoy got into music because of her mom, who took her to her first One Direction concert in Toronto—and she’s never looked back. Nobody ever takes us anywhere.
Marne McLyman
Manager, Maverick Nashville; Tour Manager, Brooks & Dunn
The last concert McLyman saw before moving to Nashville was Reba, Brooks & Dunn and Terri Clark—and she went on to work for all three at once, riding along for all 105 shows of “Reba + Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas,” the longest-running country residency in Sin City history. She’s now steering Brooks & Dunn’s Neon Moon tour, Clark’s live Ryman album and Jenna LaMaster’s new single. Off the clock, McLyman has completed five Ironman triathlons, 10 marathons and more half-marathons than most people run in a lifetime. We get winded trying to get to the merch table.
Adrian Mainou
Senior Artist Marketing Manager, UnitedMasters
As digital-marketing lead for FloyyMenor, Mainou saw “Gata Only” become the biggest Latin song of 2024, clearing 4b+ streams and topping Hot Latin Songs as the Chilean artist broke out worldwide. He’s now continuing to push the Latin roster forward with Nickoog CLK, Yarge and Lyon La F, expanding across Latin America, the U.S. and Europe through immersive websites, community-driven social campaigns and more. A drummer since age six and a Berklee grad, Mainou approaches campaigns like a musician. We can’t keep a beat, let alone a rollout schedule.
Rachel Brothers
Agent, Brand Partnerships, WME
Brothers counts Freya Skye’s Hollister partnership among her career highs, its merch selling out in seconds in-store—but nothing beats taking her mom front and center to USHER, Justin Timberlake and Adele (twice). She’s now lining up 2027 album cycles for Renée Rapp, Coco Jones and Dove Cameron while building Kitty Ca$h’s fashion presence with an upcoming NYFW set for Chanel. An L.A. arts-school opera student turned agent, Brothers is a fangirl for early-2010s Food Network stars. We learned about cuisine by watching Flavortown Food Fight.
Denise Garbo
Director, Recordings Marketing, Primary Wave
Over 20 years in distribution, Garbo has hung backstage with Metric at MSG the night the group opened for The Rolling Stones, been in a prayer circle with DMX, dined with Kiefer Sutherland in a small town and watched The 1975 climb from 250-cap rooms to arena headliners. She’s now steering catalogs from the likes of DEVO, Moby, Godsmack, America and Bad Company, working with each act on reissues or live and unreleased material. Garbo keeps at least one skull in every room of her house—art and sculpture, she clarifies, not human heads. We’ll take the hint.
Mike Lisanti
Founder, MLennial
Lisanti has guided artists from clubs to arenas, including Seven Lions’ latest sold-out run and first two-night headline at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and is credited with building Crankdat into an arena-level headliner. He’s now growing MLennial into a full entertainment company, expanding beyond management into publishing and advertising. Having worked nearly every side of the business before management, Lisanti now spends more time on contracts and financials than watching sets. Nobody warns you that the rock & roll dream comes with a spreadsheet.
