Lesley DiPietro
Music Marketing Executive, CAA
DiPietro has toasted backstage with RZA after a Wu-Tang Clan sellout at Madison Square Garden and counts surviving Glastonbury glamping (twice) among the gig’s perks. She recently launched RÜFÜS DU SOL’s North American tour—with five sold-out nights at the Forum and four at MSG—and is now rolling out Mumford & Sons’ Prizefighter tour, with sold-out dates at Wrigley Field and Fenway Park, and tending to a roster that runs from Willie Nelson to Bleachers. She closes out karaoke nights with Semisonic’s “Closing Time.” We’re often told that we don’t have to go home, but we can’t stay here.
Avesta Shadpey
Senior Digital Marketing Manager, EMPIRE
Shadpey watched Souls of Mischief play “93 ’Til Infinity” for NPR’s Tiny Desk inside a preserved San Francisco bank set to become EMPIRE’s new HQ and counts a core role in the diamond-certified campaign behind Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” among his highlights. He recently rolled out Bebe Rexha’s first independent album, Dirty Blonde, while helping Fergie Baby lead what he calls Harlem’s next Renaissance after Cam’ron and FERG. As for a fun fact he won’t confirm: he might be sitting on a movie script. We’re sitting on something too: the couch.
Sabrina Finkelstein
Senior Director A&R, A&R Operations, RECORDS; A&R, Bossy Songs (Sony Music Publishing)
Finkelstein signed Slayyyter in 2024 and helped build her major-label debut, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, into a #1 Dance album—then watched it all click at a packed Coachella set, after which her streams and social following exploded. She’s since signed producer Austin Corona (Halsey, Rico Nasty, Jean Dawson, CORTIS) to Bossy Songs/SMP and now runs A&R operations across every genre at RECORDS. A LaGuardia-trained singer, Finkelstein hung it up due to stage fright. For us it was the booing.
Diego Quintero Cuello
Partner, Rossi Baldivia Klein Fine & Spector, P.C.
Quintero recently signed superstar Maluma as a direct client and negotiated Spanish urban phenom SAIKO’s release from a prior contract, landing a multimillion-dollar deal with a major. He’s now a lead attorney for rising stars like Manuel Turizo, Kapo, Rawayana and Ryan Castro, brokering alliances like Maluma x Michelob Ultra, Danny Ocean x Coca-Cola and more. At 32, Quintero is one of the youngest named partners at any U.S. music firm, and one of few licensed in both California and Colombia. We had a license too, but it was suspended after we ran over the driving instructor’s foot.
Leah Stofko
Associate, Mark Music & Media Law, P.C.
Stofko hit an early career high negotiating the agreements behind Laufey’s Fortnite integration—plus the singer’s Erewhon smoothie collab—and counts catching firm client SAILORR at Bowery Ballroom among her favorite moments. Now, she’s deep in deal work for a roster that includes Jessie Murph, Arcy Drive, Andrea Bejar, Porch Light, Maude Latour and Zinadelphia, plus viral boy band Boy Throb. She spent a summer during law school on a Montana strawberry farm with no Wi-Fi or electricity. We tried going off the grid once, but then all we could hear was the sound of our own screams.
Andrew Brady
Director, Creative Sync Licensing, Virgin Music Group
Brady still gets a rush thinking back to Portola last year, watching the team’s artists crush it onstage alongside formative favorites like Justice and Lykke Li. He’s now leading an initiative pairing remixers with the Virgin catalog to “trailerize” songs, giving artists more say in how their work gets used. Recent placements include Jean Dawson’s “Kollapse” in School Spirits and Barns Courtney’s “National Treasure” in Off Campus. Brady’s chihuahua Marlene has two middle names—Rosalía and Ciccone. We’re thinking about naming our fleas.
Nick Marquez
Senior Director, National Promotion, Big Loud Rock
Marquez helped take All Time Low’s “Monsters” to #1 at Alternative, where it became the biggest hit in chart history at 88 weeks, and also worked #1 records with Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy—a run his younger emo self never saw coming. He’s since carried Dexter and the Moonrocks’ “Freakin’ Out” to #1, with In Color’s “Headlights” in the Alt Top 3, Edgehill’s “Love To Go” trailing their #1 “Doubletake” and a new elephant-sized signing in tow. A choir kid for 10 years, Marquez sang the national anthem at the Fiesta Bowl in sixth grade. We recently ordered a fiesta bowl, but it had too much cilantro.
Amy Jayne
Senior Label Services Manager, LabelWorx
A decade-plus into her career, Jayne still gets a thrill from being first to hear a new project and shape its release. As label manager at 1985 Music, she helped sell out London’s Roundhouse for a showcase, sharing the stage with founder Alix Perez around the corner from where she grew up. At LabelWorx she helped launch BASS STATION, a department backing independent drum & bass, dubstep, garage and breaks music. Born in London and raised in Wales and the northeast, Jayne has a hybrid accent she can’t control. Our Valley inflection often causes people to rummage for their Airpods.
