Alexa Gonzales
Label Partnerships Manager, Spotify
Gonzales has helped turn Spotify activations into culture, from a surprise Laufey performance at the Guggenheim to hosting a Clipse show for top fans and finally seeing Robyn perform “Dancing on My Own” live after a four-year hiatus. She helped bring Spotify’s BNA Grammy party to life, with nominee performances and post-awards videos rolling out for the first time. She’s presently focused on supporting Mitski’s February album and leading Spot’s Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month campaign in May. Off the clock, she’s in her florist era. We struggle with succulents.
Steven Dolsky
Senior Director of Marketing, gamma.
Dolsky will never forget bringing Mariah Carey into Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 Twitch stream, a true pinch-me moment for him. At gamma., he’s helping build a creative arm outside the traditional label model, recently leading a global digital and OOH campaign with Larry Jackson for the Beats by Dre x Apple Music “Dare to Dream Powerbeats Pro” launch starring Travis Scott. He’s also developing artists such as JayDon, Hurricane Wisdom, Loe Shimmy, Sexyy Red and honestav. Dolsky collects vinyl, cooks constantly and lives by his Long Island roots. We survive on delivery.
Miya Williams
Director, Streaming (Hip Hop, R&B, Afrobeat), Warner Records
Williams is proud to have played a role in major streaming wins, including helping establish Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” in the R&B lane as it went on to become the longest-charting Hot 100 song of all time. She also worked on Mac Miller’s Balloonerism, his eighth Top 10 album, and supported Dijon’s return with Baby. Now, she’s all about Jaymin’s Sweet Nothings EP (2/6), AZ Chike’s next chapter post-GNX and Omah Lay’s upcoming Afrobeats project. Williams is a lifelong competitive dancer and became a published author at 12. We’re unable to talk and chew gum at the same time.
Terry “Fame” LeSane
Senior Project Manager, Marketing, Def Jam Recordings
LeSane has stacked up milestone moments, from presenting Grammy-nominated Fridayy with his first solo RIAA platinum plaque for “When It Comes to You” at Madison Square Garden to helping push Coco Jones’ debut album, Why Not More?, into Grammy-nominated territory. He also helped introduce PARTYOF2 to the world, led artist-first campaigns for Fridayy’s “Death Do Us Part” f/Mariah the Scientist and is gearing up for dancehall star Masicka’s new album this summer. LeSane was first-chair trumpet in fourth grade. We were eating glue.
Chloe Garcia
Director, Tour Marketing, Wasserman Music
Garcia helps turn tours into global moments, including working on Tyler, the Creator’s sold-out, 106-show CHROMAKOPIA world tour, which included a surprise album drop and pop-up shows. Lately, she’s been busy with near-sold-out Latin America runs for Tyler and Kali Uchis, Leon Thomas’ N.A., EU and AUS/NZ tours, PinkPantheress’ nearly sold-out N.A. dates, Alex Warren’s multi-market run and Kid Cudi’s upcoming The Rebel Ragers tour, and is excited for the team’s latest signee, Natanya. In her spare time, she’s building a hot sauce empire with her sister. We can’t handle the heat.
James Marsh Jr.
Director of Radio Accounts, Warner Records Nashville
Marsh is chuffed to be part of artists’ stories from the very beginning, having been there early on for Ludacris, Ashanti, Fall Out Boy, Carly Pearce, Bailey Zimmerman, Gabby Barrett and other big acts. He’s currently developing the next wave with Chase Matthew, Gavin Adcock, Avery Anna and Braxton Keith, while also pushing country forward through WRN’s engagement and culture team and the Grand Ole Opry’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. Before music, Marsh worked in Dallas TV news and won two Daytime Emmy Awards. We finished last for employee of the month.
Liz Liles-Brown
Director of Marketing, Another Planet Entertainment
Liles-Brown helped launch Channel 24, Another Planet Entertainment’s first ground-up venue, a full-circle moment after helping secure the site years earlier in Sacramento. She’s also led major EDM campaigns, including Fred again.. x Skrillex at Civic Center Plaza (25k sold out in 24 hours) and multiple sold-out runs with Martin Garrix and Illenium at Bill Graham. Now, she’s excited for the Feb. 10 reopening of S.F’s Castro Theatre with a 20-night Sam Smith residency. Outside of work, she runs marathons. We get winded walking to the fridge.
Gabriel Fernandez
Director, Commercial Marketing US Latin, Virgin Music Group
Fernandez will never forget sitting oceanside at Nicky Jam’s Miami home, hearing unreleased music—including Latin Grammy–nominated “Dile a Él” and what would become Bohemio, which opened at #4 on Spotify’s Top Albums Global Debut chart. Now, he’s locked in on major plays with Carín León, Grupo Firme, Víctor Valverde, Gonzy, Rey Quinto, Pepe Aguilar, Ángela Aguilar and Grupo Recluta, while also spotlighting reparto artist Wampi’s new album, El Rey de la Habana. Gabriel once broke his collarbone racing a dirt bike on tour. We answer to “Hey, dirtbag.”
