Brittany Harper

Brittany Harper

Head of Digital Marketing, Darkroom Records

Harper kicked off the HIT ME HARD AND SOFT campaign by adding Billie Eilish’s 110m+ followers to her close friends list on Instagram, netting 10m new followers in a week. From there, the fan connection deepened—voice memos for each city, BTS clips like the 67m-view “WILDFLOWER” moment and sold-out crowds singing every adlib. She’s now spearheading the digital push for Eilish’s tour film with Paramount (due 3/20) and working on debut albums from Waylon Wyatt and Brenn!. Harper’s into pickleball and Topgolf. We’re into napping on the couch.

Andre Edwards

Andre Edwards

A&R, EMPIRE

Edwards went from blogging about his favorite artists to helping them create culture-shifting records. He helped Babyface Ray celebrate his first platinum plaque for “Ron Artest” at the Codeine Cowboy listening party—a moment he won’t forget. Following another successful campaign for Larry June & Cardo’s Until Night Comes, he rolled out Peezy’s STILL GHETTO—with features from Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross and more—as well as helping Fredo Bang finish his Kreature Musik mixtape. Edwards makes a killer jambalaya. We stick with DoorDash.

Anna Kathrym Groom

Anna Kathrym Groom

Manager, Music Brand Partnerships, Wasserman Music

For Groom, nothing beats seeing the organic brand partnerships she’s cultivated hit the real world. Some of her proudest moments include The War and Treaty x Ozempic ad, which aired everywhere from March Madness to College Gameday, and the Johnny Cash x Nashville SC collab, which transformed the club’s away kit for two years and culminated in 20k fans wearing black at the season opener. Presently, she’s rolling out the second chapter of Noah Kahan x Culture Pop. A lifelong ballerina, Groom still takes adult ballet classes. We once joined 24 Hour Fitness but never went.

Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel

Sr. Director, Membership, A2IM

Patel has seen it all—from watching Jon Batiste perform at the SiriusXM studios, sneaking Kevin Bacon into an event and even helping wrangle 100 drummers (including Ringo Starr, Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland and Steve Gadd) for the “Drum Together” project. Next up, he’s gearing up for Indie Week 2026 (June 8–11 in NYC), which he likens to summer camp for labels—minus the mosquitoes. Patel once judged a War of DJs competition. We recently threw away a jury summons.

Jenna Marty

Jenna Marty

Sr. Director, Sync, Warner Records

From growing up on a multigenerational Wisconsin dairy farm to launching Mike Shinoda’s “Already Over” inside a Beat Saber campaign, Marty’s come a long way. She’s been on a sync hot streak since, pairing Cassandra Coleman’s “Bite My Tongue” and Teddy Swims’ “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” with Netflix’s Nobody Wants This and linking Lydia Night with video game Super Strike for in-game, marketing and partnership campaigns. Marty is the first in her family to work in entertainment and doesn’t see herself going back (although she misses the cheese).

Joe Aboud

Joe Aboud

Founder & CEO, 444 Sounds

Aboud’s résumé includes seeing Joel Corry’s “Head & Heart” surpass 1b streams on Spotify, Anitta’s Kisses earning a Latin Grammy nom and Dixie D’Amelio’s viral debut single “Be Happy” landing 1.6m creations on TikTok. The 444 Sounds founder is leading strategy and marketing for JORDY’s next album and releases from Michaela Jaé, Shygirl, LIZ Y2K & SOPHIE and Claudia Valentina, among others. He’s also worked with acts including Julia Fox, ADÉLA and Reysha Rami. The Dalai Lama once gave him a blessed bracelet. We have a Taylor Swift bracelet somewhere.

Matt Rose

Matt Rose

Senior Manager, Strategy & Growth, Merlin

Before leading strategy for a global indie powerhouse, Rose heard his own composition play in a packed theater—just before Believer premiered and a few seats away from the film’s subject and frontman, Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds. At Merlin he’s spearheading Merlin Connect, a hub helping tech startups license indie music with ease. Recent wins include discovery platform Nina Protocol and a responsible AI collab with ElevenLabs. Rose holds a master’s in songwriting and still writes for musical theater. We can’t hold a tune at karaoke.

Michael Berg

Michael Berg

Partner/Talent Buyer, Collectiv, Deep Cut, Hulaween & North Coast

Berg helped bring Grateful Dead history full circle—curating “PHILCO” with Phil Lesh, Jeff Tweedy & Nels Cline in 2022, then reuniting Bob Weir with The String Cheese Incident as “The Bobby Weir Incident” at Hulaween 2024, just 48 hours after Lesh’s passing. He also helped stage a surprise Skrillex/Chris Lake/Bonobo b2b at Hula 2021. Up next: programming for Peter Shapiro’s newest club, Garcia’s Chicago, and the 2026 editions of Hulaween and North Coast. His ideal night? Bavette’s and a seafood tower with his wife and best friends. We can’t even peel a shrimp.
