Andrew George

Andrew George

Senior Director, Media Strategy, Atlantic Records

From helping ensure talent like Nicki Minaj walked the pink carpet at the Barbie premiere to traveling with Hayley Kiyoko for VP Kamala Harris’ Pride celebration and booking Ingrid Andress for Tiny Desk, George’s career hits all the high notes. Last year, he earned a Grammy acceptance-speech shoutout for Barbie the Album, shot with Ava Max in Korea and championed Grammy-nominated cast recordings for Suffs and The Notebook. In college, George performed “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” for Frankie Valli. We barely passed elementary school.

Gabby Andrean

Gabby Andrean

Associate Director, Digital Marketing, RCA Records

While in the studio with Alicia Keys, Andrean fondly recalls geeking over a Sade sample used for Keys’ “Best of Me.” Along with leading campaigns for Chris Brown, Miguel and Channel Tres, among others, Andrean’s recent highlights include working with Myles Smith, whose “Stargazing” went nuclear last year; building global conversation around Wizkid’s Morayo; and wrapping 2024 with SZA’s SOS Deluxe: LANA (5b+ streams). Now, she’s excited for Davido’s 5ive, new Smith music and more. Andrean was in a gospel music video at the age of four. We come with a parental advisory.

Matt Stroud

Matt Stroud

Artist & Label Partnerships, Stem

Stroud takes pride in empowering artists to own their IPs. His career highlights encompass collaborating with Detroit talents Baby Money, Baby Smoove and Rocaine, plus seeing Veeze sell out the Echo after dropping his 2023 album. Working with childhood favorites Shy Glizzy and Kevin Gates was a dream come true, as was expanding Stem’s international roster with Skeete and Kman 6ixx. Now, he’s busy with upcoming projects from Glizzy, Skeete and Sunni Colón, among others. Stroud’s got two rescue pups, Cece and Bronco, who sometimes chime in on Zoom calls. We’re permanently muted.

Andrea Doman

Andrea Doman

A&R Manager, Prescription Songs & Amigo Records

Doman fondly recalls Usher joining a Zoom call about a song her team wrote for him, confirming she was doing something right in her career. She’s now buzzing over her clients working with the likes of Doechii, Kaliii, Wynne and Aaliyah’s Interlude, and celebrating placements like Kola’s on Eminem’s “Like My Shit” and Malik Ninety Five’s work on Chris Brown’s “Sweet Lullaby.” Doman used to sing demos for her multi-platinum producer brother, d.a. got that dope, before he could afford to hire fewer Auto-Tune-dependent vocalists. No tech on earth could make us sound like we’re on pitch.

Roger Semaan

Roger Semaan

Agent, CAA

Roger has orchestrated some massive moments, from a sold-out event at NYC’s Under the K Bridge to three sellouts at L.A.’s Shrine for Mau P—both in the same month. Now, he’s securing spots for his clients at major festivals, with Tinlicker and Mau P set for Coachella this year. Tinlicker also recently wrapped their biggest North American tour yet, hitting Denver’s Mission Ballroom, NYC’s Terminal 5, L.A.’s Novo and fests like III Points, CRSSD and Portola. Roger dreamed of being a DJ but ended up as an agent. Most people would like us lower in the mix.

Shelby Rosenthal

Shelby Rosenthal

Director, Digital Marketing, AWAL

Rosenthal was thanked in Mariah Carey’s Caution liner notes, facilitated Ozzy Osbourne’s first (and only) Reddit AMA, helped launch Travis Scott’s Astronomical Fortnite concert and more. Lately, she’s been excited to lead global digital strategy for The Beaches, Lauv, mxmtoon, Angie McMahon and Wasia Project, crafting immersive fan experiences along the way—including a “Blame My Ex” activation in The Beaches’ hometown and a gaming crossover for mxmtoon’s liminal space. Rosenthal confesses she can’t solve a Rubik’s cube. We’ve been trying to solve ours since 1986.

Gavin Blasier

Gavin Blasier

Day-to-Day/Manager, Three Six Zero

Among other standout moments, Blasier has worked with A. G. Cook during the production and rollout of Charli xcx’s Grammy-winning album BRAT, witnessed Count Baldor make contributions to PinkPantheress, including “Angel” from Barbie the Album, and watched BURNS co-produce Calvin Harris’ “Miracle (with Ellie Goulding).” He’s recently been zoned in on producer client BloodPop (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Grimes, Beyoncé). As a Pittsburgh native, he has a rare flex—Mac Miller performed at his bar mitzvah before making it big. Our invite was lost in the mail, as usual.

Laura Higbee

Laura Higbee

Senior Director of Marketing, Mega House Music/Poems Publishing

Higbee got to see her client Noah Conrad play trumpet during ROLE MODEL’s “Superglue” at his sold-out release show for Kansas Anymore, which Conrad executive-produced. She’s now managing a roster that includes Ryan James Carr, Grammy-and Latin Grammy-winning engineer Rob Kinelski and hitmakers German, Sol Was, Grant Averill, Joe London and Robopop. She also helped put together aespa’s Top 10 hit, “Whiplash,” written by client MarcLo. Higbee’s childhood home was featured on a TLC ghost-hunting show. We’ve been described as disturbed more than once.
