Walking Tall: Malcolm Todd Gets to the Greek Amid Deafening Grammy Buzz

October 22, 2026

Over the next few weeks, Columbia’s Malcolm Todd, who was born and raised in the Pacific Palisades, will 1) perform three sold-out shows at his hometown Greek Theatre 2) hear his name announced, in all likelihood, as a Grammy nominee for Best New Artist, possibly alongside his big sis Audrey Hobert and 3) zip across the Pacific for a string of concerts in Asia. Oh, and the two-guard-tall Todd turned 23 in September.

The Julian Swirsky-managed phenom has taken up permanent residence in the Spotify Top 10 with “Earrings,” the 2024 track sent into orbit by TikTok that hasn’t landed since (expect it to surpass 1b streams by the time the Grammys roll around). Fan favorites “Sweet Boy” and “Chest Pain (I Love)” have both topped 400m streams, and “Roommates” isn’t far behind, attesting to the depth of Todd’s still early-days catalog.

Todd’s also been killing it on his biggest headlining tour to date. The sold-out Do It Again trek, promoted by Live Nation and booked by CAA, wraps at the Greek, following multiples in major markets including New York (Radio City Music Hall), Chicago, Seattle and Oakland. Will Audrey join him onstage in L.A.? Will Columbia execs gather backstage for a triumphant trade photo that inadvertently points out the gaping height disparity between Malcolm and Ron Perry? Stay tuned.
