A "Fresh" Start for Lil Baby

Quality Control/Motown/Capitol rapper Lil Baby is off to his hottest start in years with the Pharrell-produced single, “Dead Fresh.” The bouncy trap cut dethroned “Choosin’ Texas” at the top of Apple Music and has surged to #25 on Spotify U.S.

The Grammy winner did not let the success of “Dead Fresh” grow stale on his socials, sharing with fans that it’s “album time.” The single’s sybaritic video (watch above) features gazillion-dollar vehicles and designer clothes whose names we can’t pronounce. We suspect QC’s P and Coach K and HYBE Americas’ Isaac Lee can, though.

Over at TikTok, the track has already racked up nearly 500k posts and 250m views in its opening week.

Baby’s last full-length, WHAM, opened at #1 in January 2025.
