ADÉLA's Double Play
Capitol’s ADÉLA is a bona fide breakout with two clear hits.
The fuchsia-haired Slovak’s “Ain’t in LA” has twerked into the Spotify global Top 10 and up to #16 U.S. It’s joined on the DSP’s charts by a new rocket, the smoldering “Nicole Kidman” (#12 U.S., #40 global).
PRIMA, the singer’s debut album, is on its way to a robust 50k+ Top 5 chart bow and could well be buoyed in subsequent weeks by her streaming growth. All of which will likely amplify her already strong Grammy buzz, and vice versa. It probably hasn’t hurt that the real Nicole Kidman used “Ain’t in LA” for her first-ever TikTok post.
ADÉLA’s day-to-day manager is Sam Jacobson at Brandon Creed’s Good World. CAA’s Shirin Nury books her for live, and her Red Bottoms tour is turning fans into stans from Brooklyn to Berlin.
If you’ve peeped her videos, you know that the artist born Adéla Jergová is an arresting, provocative pop performer who’s utterly determined to sashay to superstardom. It should be fun to watch.
