Managers today need to take on many of the responsibilities that used to be fulfilled by record companies.

Wendy Laister from Magus Entertainment (Duran Duran, etc.). She always goes to the wall for her clients, but in a way that everyone finds admirable as opposed to alienating.

You’re made czar of the concert industry. What’s the first thing you’d change?

More all-ages shows in clubs. Young people should get to see acts they like while they’re on their way up.
