Bad Bunny to Headline 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Feb. 8.
The NFL made the announcement during halftime of the Sunday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys.
Benito is no stranger to the Super Bowl, having performed alongside Shakira during her co-headlining set with Jennifer Lopez at SB LIV in 2020.
Bad Bunny recently wrapped his historic 31-date residency at José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan that reportedly added $200m to the local economy. He is nominated for 12 Latin Grammy Awards, and is considered a leading contender for top Grammy Awards when nominations are announced on Nov. 7.
"What I'm feeling goes beyond myself," Bad Bunny said in a statement. "It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown... this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."
Booked by Roc Nation and the NFL, Bad Bunny's performance will follow Kendrick Lamar's record-breaking appearance at Super Bowl LIX. Lamar's set drew roughly 133.5 million viewers, surpassing the average game viewership of 126 million. He was the first solo rap act to land the gig.
Previous performers include USHER and special guests in 2024, Rihanna in 2023 and Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Lamar in 2022.
