Paramount+ Ozzy Doc Comes Home Oct. 7
The just-released first trailer for Paramount+'s Ozzy Osbourne doc, OZZY: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW, showcases his yearslong battle to return to the stage and the studio amid debilitating health issues.
Due Oct. 7, the Tania Alexander-directed film culminates with Osbourne's final solo and Black Sabbath performances, at July's "Back to the Beginning" concert in his native Birmingham, England. The Prince of Darkness died 17 days later, at age 76.
Osbourne's wife, Sharon, and children Jack, Kelly and Aimee are featured throughout, as are Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi; members of Guns N' Roses, Metallica and Tool; Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith; and producer Andrew Watt, who oversaw Ozzy's final two studio albums in 2020 and 2022.
Fans will also be treated to footage of Osbourne preparing to perform at the closing ceremony of the U.K.'s Commonwealth Games and a soundcheck from his 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
NO ESCAPE FROM NOW was produced by Echo Velvet in partnership with the Osbournes and MTV Entertainment Studios. It was executive produced by Bruce Gillmer and Amanda Culkowski as well as Echo Velvet's Phil Alexander and Sharon Osbourne.
