It looks like we won’t have to dispatch an intern with an icepick to Toronto after all.

Following months of speculation, it’s all but confirmed that Drake’s hotly anticipated ICEMAN will arrive on May 15 via OVO/Republic. Helpfully, a Twitch streamer extracted the release date from a massive ice sculpture in the parking lot of the Bond Hotel in the 6 God’s hometown.

ICEMAN will be Drake’s first LP on his own since 2023’s For All the Dogs, which was followed last year by the PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration Sexy $ongs 4 U. There was also something about a feud with Kendrick Lamar…

We’ll spare you a recap of that well-aged beef but will remind you that Drake’s album, his ninth, will drop while the Canadian superstar is in the process of suing UMG, his distributor and home to his catalog.

Will a hit album help thaw relations between Drake and Sir Lucian’s conglom? Stay tuned.
