Reggaeton godfather Daddy Yankee has returned with a new album, LA POSTAL (DY/SoundOn). The Puerto Rican phenom, who’s set to be honored by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year in a few weeks, goes global on the album, which features guest spots from Cardi B, Myke Towers, Danny Ocean, Bizarrap and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh.

Much of LA POSTAL was produced by Yankee’s son Jeremy Ayala González, who’s landed cuts with Towers, Bad Gyal and Duki.

Speaking about “Pokito,” the collaboration with Dosanjh, Yankee shared, “I always believed that Punjabi music and reggaeton would make for a great marriage. Diljit came to Puerto Rico, and we recorded it face-to-face, and that was truly special. Lyrically, the song is about working hard and discipline is part of self-love. We come from different parts of the world, but we understand the same hunger.”
