Influence Media Partners has completed its acquisition of “substantially all” of Anthem Entertainment’s assets in a transaction valued at more than $600m, adding a deep catalog of pop, rock and country copyrights to its portfolio.

The deal, announced in July, was completed in partnership with funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.

The acquisition encompasses Anthem’s music publishing catalogs, film and television publishing assets and master recordings. The combined haul includes more than 24k released songs and another 60k unexploited works, among them The Weeknd’s “Die for You,” Britney Spears’ “Oops!... I Did It Again,” Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack,” Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous,” OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars,” Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” and Cody Johnson’s “’Til You Can’t.”

The closing marks a major expansion for Influence, the New York-based rights investment platform led by co-managing partners Lylette Pizarro McLean, Rene McLean and Lynn Hazan.

Backed by BlackRock-managed funds and accounts, the company has built a portfolio that includes rights associated with Future, Enrique Iglesias, Blake Shelton, Tainy and Julia Michaels. In 2024, it launched SLANG, an independent frontline label and music publisher.
