WHAT IT IS: BBYKOBE is a Detroit-born, L.A.-based rapper, writer and producer whose behind-the-scenes work has shaped some of the past few years’ most visible releases—including contributions to Travis Scott’s UTOPIA and the chart-topping, Grammy-nominated “Like That” from Metro Boomin, Future and Kendrick Lamar. His credits span The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, Cash Cobain and Lil Wayne. Now stepping forward under his own name, BBYKOBE has crafted a sound that pulls from rap, R&B and electronic production, with debut album She Luv BBYKOBE marking the shift from collaborator to solo artist.
