Here's the Reality About DJ Bryce Alakai

Bryce turns L.A.’s Avalon into a love island all its own

DJ Bryce Alakai, whom you may have watched on the boob tube—he was a season 8 winner of Love Island USA—is becoming a real live draw, selling out venues nationwide.

It isn’t just his reality-show visibility that’s buoyed his profile, though; the artist-producer’s remix of Ty Dolla $ign’s “Blasé” (Atlantic) has turned heads and helped fuel overflow attendance at hipster-infested venues like NYC’s Webster Hall, Brooklyn’s Elsewhere, Boston’s Memoire, Atlanta’s District and Avalon, in the EDM tyro’s hometown of L.A., where he was joined onstage by Ty and Leon Thomas.

Alakai, who’s repped for live by UTA’s Wilcox Weaver and JT Taylor and managed by Podwall Entertainment’s Eric Podwall and Paul George, recently opened for Kaskade and the Santa Monica Pier and will provide tricks and/or treats with Loud Luxury at its Halloween show in Denver. His resume also includes performances with John Summit and Don Toliver, among others.
