The CountZach, Kacey, Nathaniel Huddle Under the Big Sky
With Zach Bryan (booked by WME), Kacey Musgraves and Nathaniel Rateliff (High Road) leading the bill, Under the Big Sky is bringing a heavyweight country and Americana lineup back to the wide-open spaces of Montana.
The eighth annual edition returns to Whitefish’s Big Mountain Ranch July 16-18 with 40 acts spanning outlaw country, indie rock, bluegrass and folk—plus the rodeo, ranch life and mountain views that make this more than your run-of-the-mill music festival.
Mounting his third appearance at the event, Bryan will be joined by Musgraves, making her festival debut, and Rateliff, who returns for the first time since headlining the inaugural Big Sky in 2019.
Killers frontman turned country act Brandon Flowers, The Wallflowers, Dawes, Midland, Sam Barber, Buffalo Traffic Jam, The Devil Makes Three, Paul Cauthen and The Dead South will also appear, as will local and regional acts Badger Hound, Cascadel, Cash Muretta, Chloe Gendrow, Denim Gold and Sterling Drake.
The 350-acre working cattle ranch, host to rough stock (bucking animals) rodeo, horseback rides, a tattoo barn, a petting zoo and a vendor village, is minutes from Glacier National Park and less than 10 miles from the airport in Kalispell.
Under the Big Sky is produced by Outriders Present, which is owned by former pro hockey player Johnny Shockey.
