The Weeknd's "After Hours" Becomes Top-Grossing Tour by Male Act

The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour has crossed the $1.3b mark, making it the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history per promoter Live Nation.

The four-year stadium trek concluded with a final performance in Kuala Lumpur, closing a run that encompassed 176 shows in 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents, and sold more than 9m tickets.

The milestone comes as the tour completes its long-awaited Asian chapter. Originally announced with 11 dates, the leg expanded to 17 sold-out stadium shows across the region, including three nights in Bangkok and four in Hong Kong. The tour maintained its momentum through 2026, moving more than 3m tickets and grossing over $500m during the year. In July alone, it generated more than $120m from nearly 900k tickets.

The achievement comes as little surprise to Live Nation President of Touring Omar Al-joulani, who recently told HITS, “The Weeknd has been a stadium act in Australia, South America, Mexico and all through Europe, so Asia was the final frontier.”

The tour’s final stretch also delivered a major Hong Kong milestone: The Weeknd became the highest-selling international male solo artist in the market, with four sold-out shows at Kai Tak Stadium and nearly 200k tickets transacted. His new song “Hong Kong,” featuring Cantopop icon Faye Wong, posted the biggest first week debut for a non-Mandarin song in five years on NetEase Cloud Music and made The Weeknd the first international artist in five years to top three major charts on release day.

Other tour benchmarks included seven SoFi Stadium shows in Los Angeles, setting venue records for performances and gross by a male artist; six nights at Rogers Centre in Toronto, a record for a male solo artist on a single tour; and 13 sold-out stadium performances in France across the full run. In the U.K., seven sold-out stadium shows this year drew more than 450k fans, with ticket buyers coming from nearly 150 countries.

The run also generated $8.5m for the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen, supporting hunger relief and access to education.

Last year, The Weeknd rejoined WME for representation in all areas, though CAA administered and marketed After Hours Til Dawn. He’s managed by Sal Slaiby for SALXCO and repped for legal by Kenny Meiselas.
