OLIVIA’S LINEUP: In a major move in the building of Olivia Rodrigo’s executive team, Josh Dembling and Mookie Singerman have formed an independent partnership to represent her exclusively. Rodrigo parted ways with her previous reps, Aleen Keshishian and Zach Morgenroth at Lighthouse Media + Management, last year.

Dembling previously served at Rick Yorn’s LBI Entertainment, where he aided in the careers of acts like Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. Singerman, longtime manager of Caroline Polachek, was most recently part of Soft Shock, having been on the TaP and We Are Free Management teams. Meanwhile, buzz grows about a new Olivia album, and WME’s Lucy Dickins remains firmly in place. Who else will figure prominently in O-Rod’s family office? Will there be a family spaghetti night?

MARS MANIA: What happens when you break every Ticketmaster record in the book for tickets sold in a single day (2.1m) and single-day sales records in North America, Europe and the U.K.? If you’re Bruno Mars and Live Nation, you add 32 more stadium dates to Bruno's trek (in support of his Feb. 27 Atlantic album, The Romantic), which now includes three nights in Paris, Berlin and Vancouver, four in Toronto, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and East Rutherford, New Jersey, and a six-pack at London’s Wembley Stadium. This much pent-up demand, a decade after his last album solo, shows that Bruno—who’s repped for live by John Marx at WME—has the rarest kind of career longevity.

HARRY’S HOUSE: Speaking of returning megastars, chatter about a lengthy string of Harry Styles residencies, possibly in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, London, France and Germany, is now deafening. With the Jeffrey Azoff-managed, CAA-repped artist’s new Columbia album, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY., now bearing a March 6 release date, a tour announcement seems imminent.

JIVE TALKIN’: The buzz out of Culver City is that RCA is relaunching Jive Records with some young heavy hitters. Clive Calder was drinking rum out of a solid-gold coconut and couldn’t be reached for comment.

WASS UP?: At the top of 2025, Casey Wasserman and Lee Anderson’s Wasserman Music leveled up—and began leveling the agency playing field—by hiring about 100 new team members, including top agents, dozens of assistants, coordinators, managers, directors and back-office staff, and securing A-level talent in every genre. Judging by the tours already booked for ’26, Team Wass’ upward trajectory is due to continue.

After bringing EVPs and managing executives Kevin Shivers and James Rubin and SVP Cristina Baxter into the fold early last year, Wasserman went on a hiring blitz; House Casey nabbed SVPs Paul Ryan, Vince Amoroso, Tim Beeding and Michelle Byars, not to mention several VPs, including comms wiz Lydia Barry.

The Wass Music client roster’s expansion was highlighted by the addition of Travis Scott, Tyler, the Creator, LISA, Kali Uchis, Ty Dolla $ign, Wyclef Jean, Ice Spice, Lil Baby and Wiz Khalifa—several in new territories—and rising talent like Ravyn Lenae, PinkPantheress, Sofi Tukker, EsDeeKid, Leon Thomas and Sleep Token.

RAYE

The 2025 tour season set an exceptionally high bar. Consider Tyler, the Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA, which was reportedly his highest-grossing and best-selling outing to date; Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National, which grossed $256.4m and sold 1.1m tickets for 23 shows, making it the highest-grossing co-headlining tour ever; Scott’s Circus Maximus (worldwide, excluding North America), which grossed almost $210m and sold more than 1.7m tickets, making it the highest-grossing solo rap tour of all time; Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres (N.A.)., the highest-grossing and most-attended tour in history; and record-breaking runs by Lorde, Chappell Roan, Kenny Chesney, The Lumineers and Ed Sheeran.

Of course Wasserman is already up and on sale with 2026 tours by Tyler in Latin America, plus Lewis Capaldi, RAYE, Alex Warren, Tyler Childers, Old Dominion, Dijon, My Chemical Romance, Louis Tomlinson and a host of others, and the agency garnered 107 Grammy nominations for 62 clients in 54 categories. What’s more, Wass has more acts playing Coachella than any other agency. Can we borrow some sunscreen?

WILL THE SHOWGIRL SHOW? There’s been considerable rumormongering about Taylor Swift’s possible presence at the Grammys, with some insiders suggesting that if she doesn’t perform she might show up to sit at the cocktail tables at the front of the house. But now word has it that those reports were erroneous: Tay has evidently decided to sit this one out. Of course, even if that's the case, she could well change her mind.

EXIT SANDMAN? Despite widespread rumors that the rockers would be setting up camp in Vegas, some insiders report that negotiations to bring Metallica to Sphere could fade to black. Speculators are speculating that the band is looking to play just two shows a week on nonconsecutive days, and that drummer Lars Ulrich is driving a particularly hard bargain. Will Messrs. Burnstein and Mensch and IAG’s Dennis Arfa iron out the details?

KARLIK PRESS: Maxim Karlik, a longtime member of Post Malone’s inner circle, has joined CAA as an agent in the global touring division. The L.A.-based Karlik was formerly at UTA, where he specialized in creating opportunities for music clients in the agency’s publishing, audio, film, television, video game, theater and voiceover arms. His work included securing Malone acting roles in Happy Gilmore 2 and Road House, as well as the launch of the graphic novel POST MALONE’S BIG RIG, published by Vault Comics in collaboration with Michael Bay. Karlik worked closely with Posty’s primary agent, Cheryl Paglierani, who moved from UTA to CAA in June 2024 and brought Malone and other clients with her.

QUESTION: Why is Irving Azoff never in town during Grammy week?
