Rush Reunion Super-Sizing for Sphere Residency

Rush's Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee (Richard Sibbald)

Rush is adding a major Las Vegas chapter to its comeback.

The Canadian rock legends will play their first-ever residency, titled Elevate From the Norm, across five shows at Sphere on May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30.

The run adds an exclamation point to the ongoing, Live Nation-promoted Fifty Something tour, which sources say has crossed $100m from nearly 50 arena shows this year. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees are managed by Q Prime honchos Cliff Burnstein and Peter Mensch and booked by IAG.

On their first roadwork since 2015, Core members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are joined by German drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold (drummer Neil Peart died in 2020). Lee promises plenty of next-level imagery at Sphere, plus “playing all of 2112 and all of Moving Pictures along with an array of other songs.”
