The CountROCK THE BELLS TO RING IN JERSEY
The Rock the Bells Festival will make its first foray into New Jersey on 6/28, when it pulls into Newark’s Prudential Center as part of the third annual North to Shore Festival. The lineup has yet to be announced.
Founded by LL COOL J, the Rock the Bells festival was launched in 2022 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. This year's iteration is a partnership with the Black Promoters Collective (BPC).
"This partnership with Rock the Bells is a defining moment, not just for hip-hop, but for the business of live entertainment," BPC President Shelby Joyner said. "Together, we’re delivering a next-level experience that not only honors the legends but also provides a platform for the next generation of talent."
LL COOL J added, “After two sold-out festivals, we’re excited to continue building on that momentum and bring the Rock the Bells Festival to even more fans. This is an opportunity to expand our reach, celebrate hip-hop culture on a larger scale and collaborate with incredible talent on behalf of an incredible brand.”
Those who prefer their hip-hop with a side of salt air can indulge in the annual Rock the Bells Cruise, which sets sail from Miami to Bimini on 10/27 with a lineup headed by The LOX, GZA, Juvenile, Fabolous and Xzibit. Staterooms are fully booked, but Sixthman has opened a waiting list.
HITS remains banned from cruise ships for all those prime-rib-station incidents.
