Yanks Rejoice: Ozzfest To Cross the Pond

September 22, 2026

Following the news that Ozzfest is returning for the first time in nine years, mounting shows next summer in Birmingham, England, comes the announcement that the groundbreaking hard-rock confab will also be planting its flag stateside once again.

Details (like dates and performers) are scant, but the Ozzfest account posted to Instagram that it “will come to the U.K. and U.S.” next year and asked, “Where are you hoping Ozzfest 2027 will pop up?”

The U.K. stand will be held at Villa Park, which hosted Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s final live performances in July 2025, just 17 days before the artist’s death at the age of 76.

Ozzy and wife Sharon launched Ozzfest as a touring franchise in 1996, providing a crucial platform for metal acts for more than 20 years. Among those who spent formative time on the road were Slipknot, Pantera, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, System of a Down and Disturbed.

Its final incarnation was a 2018 New Year’s Eve show at The Forum in Los Angeles, after which HITS realized we were crazy—but that’s how it goes.

Meanwhile, the 2025 farewell blowout is chronicled in the documentary OZZY & BLACK SABBATH: BACK TO THE BEGINNING, which will receive a worldwide theatrical release on Oct. 28.
