The CountO-Rod Goes Clubbing for Surprise Brooklyn Gig
To warm up for her Aug. 29 Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California, Olivia Rodrigo will scale down for an intimate gig tonight in Brooklyn at Williamsburg’s 1,100-capacity Warsaw.
Tickets are available only at the Live Nation boîte’s box office, which may or may not also be serving the venue’s beloved homemade pierogis for the occasion.
Rodrigo doesn’t begin her Unraveled arena tour until the Sept. 25 gig in Hartford, Connecticut, but has made some strategic, high-profile appearances surrounding the June 12 release of her chart-topping Geffen LP, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. On July 29 she taped a 16-song set boasting the live debut of eight pretty sad songs for the 52nd season of Austin City Limits; over the weekend, she enlivened Smashing Pumpkins’ hometown set at Lollapalooza with a guest appearance on “Thirty-Three.”
Rodrigo is booked by WME, who’ve long argued that HITS should not possess a driver’s license.
