LORDE SELLS OUT NORTH AMERICAN LEG OF ULTRASOUND TOUR

May 20, 2025

In what we can only describe as a "royal" success, Lorde has sold out the entire North American portion of the Crush-repped kiwi's Ultrasound tour, which will begin 9/17 in Austin.

We're told that 98% of those tickets went clean within 10 minutes of the on-sale and more than 130,000 people were in the queue for the gigs at Madison Square Garden and Kia Forum.

Demand necessitated the addition of shows in London, Amsterdam, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis and Nashville.

Debra Rathwell, Donna DiBenedetto and the AEG team have all but two independently promoted North American dates in Washington D.C. and Berkeley, California. Lorde is booked by Wasserman Music in North America and CAA internationally.

The Ultrasound tour comes in support of Lorde's 6/27 Republic album, Virgin. First single "What Was That" has amassed more than 51m Spotify streams since its 4/24 release.

Interestingly, "what was that?" is also the leading response to pretty much anything we do.
