Innings Fest, Kilby Block Party Lock In 2027 Lineups

October 28, 2026

The Strokes (booked by IAG) are swinging for the fences in 2027, landing atop the bill of two festivals with very different pitches.

The band will headline the ninth annual Innings Festival, Feb. 26-28 at Arizona’s Tempe Beach Park & Arts Park, alongside Pitbull and Alanis Morissette. Then, the three-day span of May 14–16 will see them join Deftones, Jungle, Fontaines D.C. and Slayyyter at the eighth Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City.

Produced by C3 Presents, Innings also features Pierce the Veil, The Neighbourhood, 5 Seconds of Summer, Train, Death Cab for Cutie, Interpol, Yellowcard, Hot Mulligan, 4 Non Blondes, Spoon, Shaggy and Passion Pit.

The fete promises no overlapping sets, as well as baseball-themed activities and appearances by MLB stars whose last names are nouns like Darryl Strawberry, David Justice, Rollie Fingers and Dexter Fowler and such no-nouners as Nelson Cruz and Joe Kelly. Olympic medalist and ESPN analyst Jessica Mendoza will also appear, and the All-Star Jam, hosted by analyst Jake Peavy, and Ryan Dempster’s Off the Mound will return.

Meanwhile, Kilby Block Party will bring 70 artists to the Utah State Fairpark for a weekend that’s become a destination for the indie-minded. Also scheduled to appear are Kim Gordon, Lil Yachty, IDLES, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Two Door Cinema Club and Hot Chip.

Produced by local promoter S&S Presents, the gathering began in 2019 as a one-day celebration of SLC’s all-ages Kilby Court and has since grown into a major draw, with organizers reporting more than 30,000 attendees per day this year.

The 2026 edition generated an estimated $33.5m contribution to Utah’s GDP, according to organizers. We just contributed $2.99 to the HITS lunch fund for a Big Bite hot dog from the 7-Eleven at Sunset and La Brea.
