Harry Styles closed out his record-setting, sold-out 30-show Together, Together residency at Madison Square Garden on Halloween night, getting a suitably New York send-off from Knicks captain and 2026 NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, who took the stage to present him with a commemorative banner.

Brunson, whose own championship banner had been raised at The Garden less than two weeks earlier, joined Styles for a quick embrace as the crowd roared (he even wore a “Techno Is My Boyfriend” hat previously sported by the singer).

The evening also featured the Full Stop-managed Styles dressed as the city’s unofficial rodent mascot, Pizza Rat, and delivering a first-time cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” The previous night’s Harryween festivities had found him channeling Elvis before changing into the outfit from his 2010 X Factor audition and singing Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”—the same song he performed to earn his spot on the show.

The 10-week Live Nation-promoted residency, which ran Aug. 26-Oct. 31 with Jamie xx as special guest, featured one show every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and marked Styles’ only U.S. tour dates of 2026. More than half a million fans from all 50 states and 79 countries attended, according to MSG Entertainment, which also unveiled a new “Defining Moments” exhibit on the arena’s sixth-floor concourse featuring memorabilia from the run.

And because apparently 30 nights of arena shows weren't quite enough of a New York statement, Styles also marked his farewell with a special edition of The Village Voice. The paper, which largely ceased print operations in 2017, briefly returned to the physical world as a keepsake chronicling the residency, with contributions from the opening acts, Styles’ band and MSG crew, plus coverage of the tour’s charitable partnerships.

Its brief resurrection should warm the hearts of print-loving olds like HITS everywhere. In an opening note, Styles called it “a privilege to collaborate with the iconic arts paper” and described the city’s audiences as an experience that “altered me.”

Together, Together resumes in 2027 with a 12-city North American stadium run, beginning April 2 with back-to-back shows at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix. No, we can’t get you a pair.
