Top UMLE brass made the trek to Spain to watch pop sensation Aitana take over Madrid on her Metamorfosis Season stadium run. The Spanish stint is part of the singer's Cuarto Azul campaign, as the LP topped charts in Spain following its debut in May. After the concert, Universal Latin boss and recipient of Spain's Medalla de Oro Jesús López quizzed his team on the history of flamenco.
With two sellouts at Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium and one sold-out show at Barcelona's Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, Aitana performed to 160k fans during her Metamorfosis run. The GTS-managed star brought out multiple special guests during the Madrid shows, including GALE, Spanish legend David Bisbal and reigning Latin Grammy best new artist, UML's Ela Taubert.
Cuarto Azul, which dropped on May 29, was #1 in Spain for three weeks and became the sixth-largest debut ever in Spain.
