ASCAP Partners With Project Healthy Minds

November 5, 2026

ASCAP EVP Chief Strategy & Digital Officer Nick Lehman

ASCAP has expanded its wellness program with a new member benefit in collaboration with the nonprofit Project Healthy Minds. The initiative provides ASCAP songwriter, composer and music publisher members with private access to an ecosystem of mental health services, therapy options and wellness tools.

To access, Project Healthy Minds has developed a discovery platform that all ASCAP members can use to connect with a diverse range of mental health services, and members can privately connect with mental health service providers. Available services include clinical care, community support and daily wellness.

“Creativity thrives when creators are supported—in mind, body and spirit,” ASCAP EVP/Chief Strategy & Digital Officer Nick Lehman said. “Music creators put their everything into the music we love, yet trying to find quality, affordable support shouldn’t feel like everything is stacked against them in an opaque healthcare system. By teaming up with Project Healthy Minds, we are delivering direct access to vetted care—removing friction so our members get meaningful support, whenever and however they need it.”

To use the new service, ASCAP members must log on to the ASCAP Member Access portal to get to the landing page on Project Healthy Minds’ site. From there, they can browse available mental health services, take personalized assessments and connect directly with care providers.

The announcement coincides with the jump.global Summit taking place Nov. 10 in L.A., where ASCAP members Cheryl “Salt” James of Salt-N-Pepa and protest songwriter MILCK (also known as Connie K Lim) will take the stage alongside Lehman for “The Empathy Bridge: A Creator-to-Executive Conversation.”

ASCAP will also bring members and staff to participate in the Diplo Run Club 5K at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Nov. 8. Details here. You may now resume celebrating the blue tsunami.
