What was the first concert you ever attended?

Duran Duran, Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour, April 1984, Madison Square Garden. I was a huge Duranie and stayed in all weekend trying to win tickets on Z100. Come Sunday night I was devastated that I hadn't been successful. The next day, my father came home from work and handed me an envelope with four floor tickets. I had a blast. My dad, not so much.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

Jeff Buckley. What a talent.

You’re made czar of the concert industry. What’s the first thing you’d change?

Abolish merch concession fees.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

It wasn’t advice given to me personally, but it was a quote from Irving Azoff in the History of the Eagles doc: “Show me someone responsible for guiding an artist’s career who's made too many friends, and I'll show you someone who's sold out their artist.”
