What was the first concert you ever attended?
Dixie Chicks, Fly Tour, 2000, Charlotte Coliseum. The Fly album was a staple in our house growing up and the first concert I remember. Martie played on a B-stage within arm's length of our row in the upper bowl, and I snagged a bootleg T-shirt in the parking lot on the way out.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see, and which year/era?
Either Queen at Live Aid in 1985 or Johnny Cash live at Folsom State Prison in 1968.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
My great-grandfather had a saying: "Whether a job be great or small, do it right or not at all." That's become a family mantra over the generations. I recently learned that Quincy Jones grew up hearing a similar quote from his father.
