HYBE's Alexander Silverman

What was the first concert you ever attended?

Chicago and Huey Lewis & the News’ co-headlining show at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, 2006.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

The European leg of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell Tour in 1994. I’ve played the Pulse live album into the ground, especially “The Great Gig in the Sky.”

What’s the single biggest change in a manager’s responsibilities since you started in the biz?

Managers have evolved from being play-callers and connectors to being the Co-CEOs of the artist’s business, with digital content, data-driven strategy and brand development at the center of the role.
