The Everly Brothers at Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, California. It was either 1986 or 1988 (Google search is failing me).

Describe your all-time-favorite photo, memento or tchotchke from your job.

A photo with Aaliyah (and a hand-signed laminate) from a Wherehouse Music in-store by the Beverly Center in July 2001, about a month before the plane crash.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

It isn’t advice that was given to me directly, but I remember seeing a Paul McCartney quote in a magazine interview where he talked about being around other superstars: “Be cool and you’ll be all right.” Act like you belong. You are where you are for a reason.
