What was the first concert you ever attended?

Suede at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh, 1997. I was so young, I hadn't realized that other people liked the same music as me and my (two or three) friends. Seeing so many people in tight black clothes was a revelation.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

Prince at First Avenue in 1983, playing Purple Rain for the first time.

What’s the single biggest change in a manager’s responsibilities since you started in the biz?

There is so much more music, more output and more noise. Helping an artist cut through all that, building a community, creating space for a real relationship between artist and fans to grow is an ever-changing challenge.
