What was the first concert you ever attended?

Rage Against the Machine at Cobo Arena in Detroit. 1996. I was in the upper bowl, and a group of us thought we could make our way to the lower bowl. We were met with police officers with pepper spray. We quickly went back to our seats and enjoyed the show.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

I recently attended the Black Sabbath Back to the Beginning show in Birmingham. That show was incredible and solidified that my dream show would be Sabbath in their early days.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

My dad once said to me, “Just ask the question. What’s the worst that can happen? They say ‘no’.”
