What was the first concert you ever attended?

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Stadium Arcadium tour at Boston’s TD Garden in 2005. The Mars Volta opened and I was so intrigued. I went home and checked out their album, De-Loused in the Comatorium. It completely changed my understanding of music.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

Jay-Z’s “retirement” concert at Madison Square Garden in 2003. Fade to Black is probably my favorite music documentary, seeing that concert live must have been incredible.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

“It’s show business, not show fun.”
