HITS Grammy Special Pt. 2

Grammy Nominees: Wet Leg, Miranda Lambert, YUNGBLUD, Flo

December 29, 2025

It can’t be all couture fittings and champagne toasts for this year’s exalted Grammy nominees. They also have to put up with mishegas like this…

  • Rhian Teasdale, Wet Leg

What’s your all-time-favorite Grammy moment, either as a participant or a viewer?

When Adele snapped her Grammy in half to share it with Beyoncé. It was like the real-life version of that scene in Mean Girls where Lindsay Lohan’s character breaks the prom crown to share it with everyone. I just love seeing British artists at the Grammys in general, to be fair.

  • Miranda Lambert

What stands out most about the process of recording Postcards from Texas?

Postcards from Texasfelt like a return to me. It was the first album in 20 years that I had recorded in Texas. Recording there feels more laid back than recording in Nashville. It’s a very organic process. Specifically, getting to record at Arlyn Studios made the process very special too. So many of my heroes have recorded there, everyone from Steve Earle to Willie to Reckless Kelly to Jack Ingram. That room has seen magic.

  • YUNGBLUD

What surprised or most delighted you about the fan reaction to “Changes (Live From Villa Park)”?

The most beautiful thing about this performance was it incited multiple generations of rock fans to come together as one, and I got to stand onstage and honor my hero, Ozzy, by singing a Black Sabbath classic. The moment at the end, where all 45,000 of us sang together, wasn’t at all planned. The idea came to me during the last chorus. I wanted Ozzy to hear us backstage. I wanted him to feel the energy, and I’m so happy we managed to have it recorded.

  • Flo

Besides yourselves, of course, who will you be openly rooting for on Grammy night?

Cynthia Erivo! She has always been incredibly multi-talented and is so inspiring to us and young black females all around the world. She deserves her flowers!
