HITS Grammy Special Pt. 2

Grammy Nominees: Leon Thomas, Ejae, Alex Warren, FLO

December 11, 2025

It can’t be all couture fittings and champagne toasts for this year’s exalted Grammy nominees. They also have to put up with mishegas like this…Music's Biggest Night meets Music's Lamest Trade Magazine.

  • Leon Thomas

Grammys aside, name an award or honor you’ve won that means the most to you.

Honestly, my Kids’ Choice award still means the world to me. It was one of the first moments where I felt recognized on a global stage alongside a cast I considered family. We grew up together in a lot of ways, and to share that kind of spotlight with people who actually knew my heart—that was special. It reminded me that the work connects when it’s real.

  • Ejae

What stands out most about the process of recording “Golden”?

When I was recording the final vocals, I told Ian Eisendrath, our music executive producer, “Wow, this is a hard song to sing. Good thing I'll never have to sing it live.” I didn't know how wrong I was!

  • Alex Warren

Grammys aside, name an award or honor you’ve won that means the most to you.

Winning Best New Artist at the VMAs was a special moment in my life. I was truly so shocked I won. Having my wife and friends there that day made it even more special.

What’s your all-time-favorite Grammy moment, either as a participant or a viewer?

Our favorite was when Adele won Album of the Year and used her speech to give Beyoncé her flowers. It was such a genuine and emotional moment. We loved how she turned it into a celebration of another woman’s impact on music and culture. It was such a powerful reminder of what it looks like when women lift each other up in a space that’s often competitive.
