Good Harbor's Dalton Sim

What was the first concert you ever attended?

Peter Gabriel at Great Woods in Mansfield, Massachusetts, July 1987, was my first memorable concert. I was in high school and had been highly influenced watching Amnesty International’s A Conspiracy of Hope tour finale on TV in the summer of 1986.

You can go back in time and see any concert. Whom would you see and when?

Bob Marley, anytime between 1975 and 1980.

You’re made czar of the concert industry. What’s the first thing you’d change?

I’d simplify the ticketing experience for more transparency, less frustration. Fans shouldn’t feel like they're getting abused or ripped off every time they want to see their favorite artist because they have lost out to scalpers, bots or algorithms. The concert experience starts the minute the fan goes to buy a ticket. I would love to make the entire process feel fairer and easier.
