EMPIRE State of Mind: Leesa Brunson-Boland and Bina Fronda Land at NYC HQ

EMPIRE has appointed Leesa Brunson-Boland SVP of A&R operations and Bina Fronda SVP of marketing. They’ll both be based at the company’s NYC headquarters.

Brunson-Boland comes from 300 Entertainment, where she served as head of A&R operations. Her résumé also includes two decades at Def Jam.

EMPIRE President Tina Davis said, “I have known Leesa for over 20 years and her commitment to artists and operational expertise is going to be invaluable to our artists and our team as we expand the scope of the A&R team’s mandate.”

Fronda, who was previously VP of marketing at Ultra Records, will support EMPIRE's marketing efforts with a focus on strengthening the company's dance and pop artists.

EMPIRE EVP, Marketing Peter Kadin said, “Bina's experience scaling artist brands and her understanding of the current market is critical as EMPIRE continues to build out our dance business and explore other genres and markets.”
