Atlantic Forges Pact With FADER Label

April 6, 2026

Atlantic Music Group and FADER Label have entered into a 50/50 partnership to sign and develop new and established artists, boost FADER Label’s roster and catalog, and expand the services offered through FADER Distribution.

Established in 1999 by founders Jon Cohen and Rob Stone, The FADER was the media arm of the duo’s Cornerstone Agency. FADER Label, launched three years later, has released music by Clairo, Matt & Kim, Slayyyter and Saul Williams, among others.

“FADER Label has established itself as an artist-forward home to a thoughtfully curated roster,” said AMG Chairman/CEO Elliot Grainge. “Through the years, it has solidified itself as a reputable tastemaker with a proven track record for artist development. We have a shared spirit—identifying and nurturing artists who are intentional in their craft and will continue to shape music in new and exciting ways.”

Cohen added, “AMG is fearless in a business that needs more leaders brave enough to break the rules. Above all, they put the artists first and show endless commitment to artist development, and that is what The FADER is built on.”
