Island/MCA’s Wyatt Flores stopped by the Academy of Country Music headquarters in Nashville, where he performed three tracks: his latest single, “Tulsa and Eleanor,” “Drive All Night” and “Milwaukee.” He also spent time with some of the ACM staff, including newly appointed CEO Andy Schuon.
Flores’ sophomore album, Scared of Heights, arrived in July with production from Charlie Handsome, Jacob “JKash” Hindlin and Gian Stone. It follows his 2024 debut, Welcome to the Plains.
Fun fact: Flores co-wrote “Drive All Night” at a songwriting camp after he asked if he could leave early to drive 14 hours to South Dakota to see a girl. We’re convinced nobody would drive five minutes to see us. Watch the full performance of the song via YouTube below.
