Queens of the Stone Age

With Perfecth (Matador) going straight to the top this week, Queens of the Stone Age have their second U.K. Official Albums #1. On the Singles roundup, there’s a new peak for Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (Epic).

Perfecth, the ninth studio album by the Josh Homme-led QOTSA, joins 2017’s Villains in reaching the summit. Scottish band The Snuts land a fourth consecutive Top 5 album, this time courtesy of Joy in Short Moments (Happy Artist), debuting at #4.

Nickelback enjoys its eighth Top 10, Everything Under the Sun (Nickelback Productions), at #6, while Editors achieve the same with Surface, Echo & Sound (Play It Again Sam), at #7.

Boosted by Halloween, Jackson’s Thriller rises 14 places to #10. On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, its title track flies 12 places to #5, securing a new peak 43 years after its release. Since reaching what was a new high of #9 in 2025, the track has seen a 74% week-over-week sales increase in the last seven days.

Higher up the chart, Jamie Miller’s “Babydoll” (Republic) holds firm at #1 for a third consecutive week.

Other tracks boosted by All Hallows’ Eve include Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters” (RCA) at #12 and Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me” (Motown), which re-enters at #14. Tame Impala’s “Dracula” (Columbia) leaps 53 places to #15 as this week’s highest climber.

Bobby “Boris” Pickett’s “Monster Mash” (Mach60 Music) is back at #19, followed by Danny Elfman’s “This Is Halloween” (Walt Disney Records) at #22 and Andrew Gold’s “Spooky Scary Skeletons” (Music for Little People) at #23.
