An eclectic quartet of acts from Spain, Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay lead the nominees for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards.

In nominations announced Wednesday by the Latin Recording Academy, ROSALÍA, KAROL G, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and Jorge Drexler each earned seven nominations.

Mexican songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera topped the field with 10 nominations.

Genre-fluid Spanish sensation ROSALÍA and Colombian stadium-filler KAROL G scored nods in all three top categories, Album, Song and Record of the Year. ROSALÍA’s acclaimed LUX (Columbia) is an AOTY nominee, while the album’s “La Perla” f/Yahritza y Su Esencia will compete for Record and Song. KAROL’s Tropicoqueta (Bichota/Interscope) picked up an AOTY nod, and “Coleccionando Heridas” with legendary Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís, will vie for Record and Song.

CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, who tied Bad Bunny with five Latin Grammy wins in 2025, repeat as a top nominee, led by their AOTY-contending FREE SPIRITS (5020 Records/RCA). The alternative Argentine duo placed different songs in ROTY and SOTY: “Ha Ha” in the former and the Sting-assisted “Hasta Jesús Tuvo un Mal Día” in the latter.

Also nominated in the three top categories is Uruguayan singer-songwriter Drexler, whose Taracá (Sony Spain) is up for AOTY; “¿Como Se Ama?” could bring him his fourth ROTY and SOTY trophies.

Glassnote’s Silvana Estrada and Sony’s Mon Laferte earned six nominations apiece. Estrada, who nabbed Best New Artist in 2022, will challenge for AOTY with Vendrán Suaves Lluvias and Record and Song with “Dime.” Laferte, too, is eligible to win the triple crown, with her Femme Fatale and the album’s title track.

19-year-old Argentine sensation Milo J secured five nominations, including AOTY with La Vida Era Más Corta (Sony U.S. Latin), ROTY for “Niño” and SOTY with “Solifican12.”

Republic/UMLE’s Anitta, Brocoli/Rimas’ RAWAYANA and Socios/Island/VMG’s Carín León round out the AOTY nominees.

The 27th Latin Grammys will take place on Nov. 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Final-round voting begins Oct. 1.
