AN ACM SURPRISE FOR ELLA LANGLEY AND RILEY GREEN

May 3, 2025

Ella Langley and Riley Green were surprised with the ACM Award for Visual Media of the Year for their breakout duet “you look like you love me” during Green’s headlining set at Country Thunder Florida on 5/2.

ACM Awards host Reba McEntire appeared on screen mid-performance to deliver the news in a special video message: “Sorry to interrupt, but I have some big news. ‘you look like you love me’ has won the ACM for Visual Media of the Year. Congratulations to Ella and Riley! Can’t wait to celebrate with you both in Frisco!”

The win adds to a massive year for both artists. Langley, already named New Female Artist of the Year earlier this month, leads all nominees at the ACM Awards with eight total nods—including Female Artist of the Year and six additional nominations tied to “you look like you love me,” which became her first #1 at Country radio. The track also made her one of only two female artists to top the Country Airplay chart in 2024.

Green, now a two-time ACM winner, received five nominations this year, all tied to his collaboration with Langley. The win marks his first since taking New Male Artist of the Year in 2020. The duo’s celebrated performance video continues to gain traction across platforms and adds to their momentum ahead of the 60th ACM Awards, streaming live 5/8 on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch.

Langley and Green are currently on the road together as part of Green’s Damn Country Music Tour, which runs through November.
