GHANAIAN STAR STONEBWOY INKS WITH ADA WORLDWIDE
Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy is taking his talents to Warner Music Group's ADA Worldwide as part of a new global distribution and label-services deal. Stonebwoy will continue to release music through his own Burniton Music Group, including his sixth studio album, which will arrive later this year.
Among Ghana's most popular artists, Stonebwoy has, since 2012, helped put Africa on the musical map with international touring, hugely popular singles and standout collaborations with the likes of Burna Boy, Stormzy and Sean Paul. His latest release, "Ekelebe," is out now. It features Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck.
"They say creativity flourishes in freedom, so owning my creativity is essential for me to make a meaningful contribution to the global music landscape," said Stonebwoy, whose 2023 album, 5th Dimension, was a Top 10 hit on worldwide reggae charts.
