THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT debuted at #1 around the world, broke the record for most first-week U.S. streams of any album in history and earned the biggest U.S. sales week of Taylor Swift’s career, surpassing 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The Republic blockbuster also broke the record for the biggest vinyl sales week for any album in the Soundscan era as Swift became the only artist to have seven albums debut with over 1m units sold in their first week.

At the DSPs, TTPD broke the record for biggest album debut in Spotify history (314m streams) and scored the most first-week global streams of any album in Amazon Music history in less than five days, while “Fortnight” f/Post Malone rocketed to #1 on Apple Music’s global and U.S. charts.
