Facebook Topples Google

FACEBOOK TOPS GOOGLE: Facebook bested Google to become the most-visited website in the U.S. last week, according to data from audience measurement firm Hitwise, with 7.07% of all U.S. Internet visits last week, to Google's 7.03%. Facebook’s marketshare was up 185% last week, compared to the same week in 2009, while Google vists were up 9% in the same period. Facebook has previously beat Google on a number of occastions, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and Purim. (3/16p)
