Weezer Gets Lost

WEEZER GETS LOST: Weezer’s eighth album—and first for indie Epitaph—will be called Hurley with the cover featuring a shot of Jorge Garcia, who played the character on Lost. The disc comes out Sept. 14, but contains no songs about the TV show, according to Rivers Cuomo. “It just had this amazing vibe,” he tells Spinner about the photo. “We didn’t want to do a fourth self-titled record and we knew people would refer to it as ‘the Hurley record.' No words are on the cover because all we wanted was his amazing face.” (8/10a)
